Scott Landry
As a student of anthropology at UMass Amherst, Scott divided his time between the study of monkeys and the study of culture (the two are not always so widely separated). He spent his summers as a whale watch naturalist for the New England Aquarium, while winters were spent as a researcher in Panama (monkeys) and Ecuador (ethnobotany). His chief interest at this time was in the relationships between people and nature and how they can be made better. With a graduate degree in Science Illustration from the UCSC, he has continued to observe the natural world. He now resides in Provincetown, Massachusetts working for the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
