Sharyn Umana-Angers

Growing up in Southern California, movies and TV have always fascinated Sharyn. After graduation from Chapman University with a film degree, she worked in TV for a number of years, making it all the way up to Production Manager. Deciding she wanted to do something more creative. Sharyn joined a large cruise line as a Video Producer where she traveled the world for nearly six years, producing travel videos of destinations in over 60 countries. She met the love of her life on ships and they were married in 2014. Moving back on land to sunny San Diego, Sharyn worked as a Videographer with San Diego Zoo Global, filming and editing documentary-style stories about wildlife, conservation and education.

In her years of traveling the globe, Sharyn has explored other nations, cultures, religions, languages, customs, and values. Each is beautifully fascinating in its own right, yet amidst the differences, she discovered we all love, learn and are spiritually connected to each other and to Nature itself. The best classroom is Earth itself, and if she can visually share the wonders of this planet with others, they will want to make a difference and she will have made hers.
