The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on February 1, 2017.

Our last full day in the amazing country of Cuba was spent in Cienfuegos, a French Colonial town named after General Cienfuegos.  The morning was spent exploring the Plaza Marti and several of the side streets, followed by a visit to the Benny More School of Art.  After lunch many of us explored Pepito Tey, a community on the site of the Soledad sugar plantation, or the Botanical Gardens.  We finished the day at the Abrakadabra theater company for a performance by the local children’s troupe.
