Today we visited one of the most famous islands in the archipelago, not only known for its wildlife and landscapes but also for its human history. The “Mystery Island” as many sailors called it for centuries, is ours to explore for the entire day, and we started with an early walk before breakfast and the opportunity to snorkel around a nearby islet. In the afternoon we kayaked and visited the Post Office Bay, where we had the opportunity to participate in a centuries-old tradition of dropping off post cards to be hand delivered, and picking up any post cards left by previous visitors to deliver when we return home.
