The days at sea traveling to these incredible places create different possibilities for different people. For some it is a chance to relax and perhaps read a book or take in a lecture. Others find it a fantastic opportunity to look at the different birds that trail behind the ship.
For the crew on board the Caledonian Star, it means business as usual, no matter what the conditions. The carpenter continues to create new shelves and cabinets. The engine crew makes sure the engine runs smoothly as we cross the sea. For the galley crew, they face a particular challenge. In the course of feeding the 118 guests onboard, the galley braves the bump of the waves, the sliding of dishes and food, to create the most delicious gourmet food.
