Our day started in Cabo San Lucas, one of the two towns that are part of what is called Los Cabos, this is where the famous arch is found, located in the tip of the Baja California Peninsula; Land's End. We headed to Pelican Rock to go snorkeling, the water was nice and not too cold with lots of colorful reef fish to watch. After snorkeling I went diving with the underwater camera, and I was lucky enough to see many interesting sea creatures, like this jewel moray (Muraena lentiginosa), half way out of its crevice. During the day this eel remains under cover in rock crevices and will defend its shelter against intruders, like me in this case. Morey eels can be dangerous but in general they are shy animals who have poor sight and a very sharp sense of smell.
