Guests board Zodiacs to return to the Sea Bird after a nature hike ashore below McNary Dam on the Columbia River. The explorers Lewis and Clark traveled this way in the fall of 1805 on their way downriver to the Pacific Ocean. Today we are stair-stepping our way upriver through a series of eight locks to reach Lewiston, Idaho, our destination for tomorrow morning.
