On Camera with Boston’s Nightly News Magazine, “Chronicle”
Travel today is a high dollar business. With most tour companies spending thousands of dollars on mass marketing, it is an honor to be approached by a nightly news program such as “Chronicle” with interest in featuring the Sea Cloud II. The relationship between Lindblad and Chronicle has developed comfortably over the past ten years with this being their third expedition. As "Chronicle’s" producer Stella Gould explains, “The journeys and expeditions that Lindblad offers are in line with 'Chronicle’s' programming. The focus is on the destination.”
After twenty-five successful years on air, “Chronicle” is now the longest running locally produced nightly news magazine in the country. The thirty-minute program centers on a single topic, issue, or destination with room for breaking news. The audience has fallen in love with co-anchor Anthony Everett as he engages those he interviews in interesting and enlightening conversation.
It truly has been a pleasure having the staff of “Chronicle” on board with Lindblad Expeditions. Their presence has added an air of excitement to the atmosphere of the ship. The "Chronicle" program aboard the Sea Cloud II will air before the end of February. For more information, log onto www.thebostonchannel.com. "Chronicle" airs on WCVB- TV channel 5, an ABC affiliate.
