The morning started out cool, with fresh "termination dust" (snow) on the highest peaks surrounding Jervis Inlet. This white cap, combined with a light scattering of fog, made for a spectacular entrance into Princess Louisa Inlet.
By the time we had anchored at the end of the inlet and started ashore for various activities, the fog had dissipated and the sun shone brightly. Some people took the opportunity to try kayaking on the glassy calm waters of the inlet. The scenery of the sheer glacial cut cliffs, the cascading Chatterbox Falls, the green forest, and of course our ship, the Sea Lion, anchored below was breathtaking.
