A lovely sunrise welcomed us to a group of islands in the southern part of the Gulf of Panama, the Pearl Islands. We had cruised all night in order to reach Pacheca and Pachequilla Islands. These two islands rockeries for the many sea birds in this region.

Part of the morning we spent exploring, aboard our expedition landing crafts.  We were all delighted as we observed the magnificent frigates birds, brown pelicans and the two species of boobies: brown and the blue footed. We later landed in Bartolome Islands. Here, more water activities were offered like paddle boards, swimming and snorkeling.
