The day was spent exploring Tracy Arm Wilderness Area. This 24 mile long fjord has at its back the South Sawyer Glacier that today still graces the water’s edge; we explored this majestic and dynamic setting by Zodiac.  By midafternoon we were prepared for our first landing at the entrance to the fjord at William’s Cove, getting our first experience in the temperate rainforest as well as setting out by kayak to take in the sights of this pristine bay.
