This morning on National Geographic Quest we awoke in the calm waters of the inside passage of Southeast Alaska.  An early morning call got us out on the bow for amazing views of bubble-net feeding humpback whales!  Mid-morning brought the opportunity to meet with the Global Explorers for a few ‘get to know you’ activities.  Meanwhile, photographers attended a program on expedition photography.  Following the presentation, the photo instructors provided excellent guidance and tips catered to individuals needs and specific cameras.  The afternoon took us off the ship for some excursions exploring the temperate rainforest, lagoon, and Lake Eva.  Guests had the opportunity for both kayaking and hiking in this beautiful environment. We rounded the day out with a bit more whale watching from the bow. All in all, another excellent day in Alaska!
